Jess Davis holds degrees in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and a Master’s of Education in Reading, as well as currently completing a Master’s in Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum. She is a licensed Reading Specialist and is Elementary I-II credentialed. She serves on the board of state and national Montessori organizations and is passionate about Montessori advocacy. She is an experienced presenter, workshop leader, consultant, and coach in Montessori philosophy, adaptive teaching methodology (individualization and inclusion practices), teaching reading and writing, nurturing mathematical mind within the Montessori curriculum, Cosmic Education, classroom management, curriculum and systems development and the school and classroom levels, and teacher coaching. She has worked nationally and internationally and is ardent about nurturing culturally responsive Montessori environments. She is committed to furthering the mission of Montessori by empowering and supporting educators through access to high-quality Montessori professional development.
Dr. Quinn McAvoy has been a Montessori school leader for more than 20 years. She holds Infant/Toddler Montessori credentials, a degree in Non-profit Business Management, and a PhD in Educational Leadership. Quinn specializes in school administration and board development. Quinn believes that the culture of a school lies in how it navigates its moments of challenge. She works to help schools develop strong foundations and thorough planning for organizational health and longevity.
Born and raised in Germany, Ines brings a rich cultural and educational background to her role in Montessori education. With seven years of experience in a 3-6 Montessori classroom and eleven years in a Lower Elementary Montessori classroom, Ines has a deep understanding of child development and the Montessori method.
Currently, Ines supports new teachers in training as a field consultant for Seton Montessori Institute and Trine University. She is a certified Positive Discipline Trainer for both Positive Discipline in the Classroom and Positive Discipline for Parents. Ines has led numerous workshops and presentations on Positive Discipline classroom management nationwide. Her extensive training on Nonviolent Communication and certification as an Encouragement Consultant further enhance her ability to coach families and teachers effectively.
